The Outdoor Explorer Mini Guidebook™: All About Apples

Take a big bite of fall with a week of apple-themed play, learning, and language building! All About Apples is a 19-page digital activity book from The Outdoor Explorer Guidebook™ series, created by Katherine Rackliff, MA, CCC-SLP, Certified Outdoor Therapist, for families, caregivers, educators, and fellow SLPs.

Inside you'll find five hands-on activities designed to spark connection and communication:

• Apple Star Prints: Discover the secret star inside an apple and turn it into art.

• Apple Taste Test: Compare apple varieties with all five senses, then match and rank your favorites.

• Apple Cookies: A no-bake, kid-friendly recipe where little hands do almost every step.

• Apple Halves Match: A syllable game with a blank DIY version you can adapt for rhyming, synonyms, or any goal.

• Books, Songs + Rhymes: Suggested reads and silly songs that support phonological awareness and letter-sound connection.

Every guidebook also includes SLP Tips & Tricks with target phrases, an Apple Words articulation page, an Apple Core Board for core vocabulary, and a reflection page for your child to share what they tasted, felt, and discovered.

Perfect for:

• Families looking for simple, screen-free fall fun
