Katherine Rackliff, MA, CCC-SLP
Founder| Speech-Language Pathologist | Certified Outdoor Therapist
Katherine Rackliff is a Speech-Language Pathologist and owner of Chickadee Chatter Speech Therapy LLC. She has been practicing pediatric speech and language therapy since 2017. She holds her Speech Pathologist license in the states of Maine and New Hampshire, and is a nationally certified Speech-Language Pathologist through the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association. In 2024, she added Certified Outdoor Therapist to her areas of expertise.
Katherine created Chickadee Chatter to connect to local families and increase communication intervention opportunities for children in rural Maine communities, such as Waterboro, Sanford, Shapleigh and surrounding areas in York County. Her areas of expertise include:
When Katherine is not working, you can find her spending time outside with her husband, two children and a dog named Bear.

We specialize in early intervention and school-aged children, typically working from ages 18 months old to 18 years old.

Some insurance plans may require one for reimbursement. If you are paying privately, no referral is needed to get started.

We blend evidence-based practices with play, indoors and out, with nature and play-based learning. We believe in building on a child’s strengths and passions to build their communication confidence.

Yes! We offer flexible options, including an indoor therapy clinic (located in Springvale, Maine) and teletherapy, depending on your child’s needs and weather.
